  • 随着技术的发展，既有车载设备的体积、重量都能够得以优化，通过将车载设备模块化、小型化并将一部分设备置于车底，使车内更多空间能够用来布置坐席，能够在不牺牲舒适性，座间距、旅客界面及服务功能及噪声水平不变以及运行接口、维护接口和操作接口基本不变的前提下，提高动车组载客量来缓解客流压力。
  • CR400AF-S除了对硬件系统进行升级外，还对牵引系统软件进行升级，采用tPower-TI3 (MU3/JP1)型牵引变流器，同步调制切换点由46 Hz/58 Hz/80 Hz/100 Hz调整为70 Hz/79 Hz/87 Hz/100 Hz，解决时速95~120 km/h时电机产生共振噪音。
  • 为提高隔音、气密性能，采用基于CR450的新型内风挡，折棚风挡由包车钩改为不包车钩，折棚形式从双层对波提升到三层（渡板以上为三层，渡板以下为“O”型双层），镶嵌式渡板改为搭接式。
  • 由于定员提升平面布局调整后，客室端部更加靠近车厢连接处，噪声增加0.6-1 dB(A)，通过借鉴CR450技术，在端部采用全频段高隔声方案、宽频分布式减振器等方案，实现客室噪声达到优级水平。
  • 受电弓区域增加高隔声平顶，降低客室噪声0.5~1 dB，墙板增加弹性减振垫，行李架安装座增加弹性连接，减小结构振动对车内产生的结构声，可降低车内噪声0.5~1 dB，转向架区域应用新型吸音材和宽频减振器，降低车内噪声1~2 dB。
  • 低噪音设计，应用流体-结构耦合分析技术，优化通风结构，提高电机散热效率、降低通风噪声，电机具有冷却风量小、噪声低的特点。
