- 下层卧铺是抽拉式结构，具备“座卧两用”功能，可灵活转换为座位，作为座位使用时，可将床铺的一部分宽度折起作为靠背的一部分，同时还提供扶手，而作为卧铺使用时又可恢复床铺宽度，使得动车组既可在夜间以卧车运营，也能在日间以卧代座的形式运营，每个下铺可以作为三个座位使用，提高了卧铺动车组的利用率，也提高乘坐舒适性。
